What I'm buying
This wonderful Brazilian coffee is from the Rainforest Alliance certified Daterra co-operative . The heat can be intense enough to parch the coffee fruit while it is still on the branch during dry times. Known as ‘pasas’ in Latin American, the fruits are picked and dried until they reach the correct moisture, then husked, polished and sorted.
Our Master Roaster uses a medium roast to bring out rich chocolate notes with hints of almonds and syrup while preserving lovely, mellow acidity - reminiscent of peaches and pears.
Recommended brew: Cafetière/Espresso

I have become so used to drinking Costa or L'Or tassimo pots that I forgot how nice it is to try something different. Monte Cristo is a very different taste, and I am really enjoying it. Perhaps next time I'll purchase beans instead of ground coffee
I would recommend Stokes to anyone. Love their coffee
I started to buy this variety of coffee about three years ago. It has a robust flavour which I usually blend with a slightly lighter fragrance like the Sidamo. Overall a fine base to use for a strong pick me up.
