Sweet Berry

Sweet Berry is a project initiated by DR Wakefield, one of our main green coffee suppliers. It aims to support and fund the Village Pure Water Project, an initiative providing clean drinking water to coffee farming communities in Ethiopia. For each bag of Sweet Berry green that gets ordered, a premium is added on to help support the scheme, established in 2021. To date, the project has raised nearly $30,000, employing 30 local staff members and providing over 1000 people across 4 villages access to clean and safe water.

As for the coffee itself, it’s a complex, fruity affair typical of the Yirgacheffe region. We’ve kept the roast light to make the most of the complex fruit and floral notes, loaded with juicy stone fruit and bright berry flavours, it makes a perfect start to a morning.
