Newark is the newest gem in our Stokes Café family.  

At the heart of our Newark café is our Giesen W6 coffee roaster, which allows us to craft signature blends for you to enjoy at the peak of freshness. It's a rare treat to witness your coffee journey from bean to cup, and we're excited to showcase our dedication to exceptional taste and quality, as well as the artistry and craftsmanship behind each cup. 

Our Newark menu reflects both our heritage and our innovation, combining the charm of British tradition we've always cherished with a modern, fun dining experience. We ensure that 95% of what we serve is homemade, from our famous scones to our flavourful pies, quiches, sandwich fillings, and even our fish and chip batter. Everything we serve is thoughtfully prepared with care.

In all our cafés, we are passionate about minimizing food waste and maximizing our resources, ensuring a responsible and eco-conscious approach in everything we do.

Words from the Designer

"The design drew inspiration from the colours of decaying textures and qualities found within derelict buildings, such as broken plaster, galvanised steel, and rusted metals. Creating a series of eye-catching hand-painted textured feature walls, working from light to dark hues to convey an authentic, aged quality. I hope all who visit here enjoy the space with their loved ones and maybe feel a little inspired themselves!" - Emma Chippendale
