Frequently Asked Questions
What makes the AeroPress Go different from the original AeroPress?
The AeroPress Go is designed specifically for travel. It is compact and includes a convenient travel mug that doubles as a storage case. It brews the same delicious coffee but is optimised for portability and convenience.
How many cups of coffee can I make with the AeroPress Go?
The AeroPress Go makes 1–3 cups of American-style coffee per press. You can also make espresso-style shots for lattes or cold brew on the go.
Is it easy to clean?
Yes! The AeroPress Go is known for its easy cleanup. After brewing, simply eject the used coffee puck and rinse the parts.
Does it come with everything I need to brew coffee?
It includes the AeroPress chamber and plunger, filter cap, scoop, stirrer, 350 micro-filters, filter holder, and a travel mug with a lid. All components nest neatly into the mug for easy transport. You will just need to choose your ground coffee.
What kind of filters does it use? Can I reuse them?
It uses AeroPress paper micro-filters, which come in the box (350 included). They're designed for single use, but some users rinse and reuse them once or twice.
Can I use it with ground coffee, or do I need a grinder?
You can use pre-ground coffee, but freshly ground beans are recommended for the best flavour. A medium-fine grind works best with the AeroPress.
Is it suitable for backpacking and air travel?
Absolutely! The AeroPress Go is ultra-lightweight, durable, and compact.
What type of coffee does it make—espresso or drip?
The AeroPress Go makes a smooth coffee concentrate similar to espresso. You can drink it straight or dilute it with water for an Americano or milk for a latte. It’s more versatile than a standard drip brewer.
Can I make a cold brew with it?
Yes! The AeroPress Go can make a quick version of cold brew in just a few minutes using cold water and a longer steep time.
Is it BPA-free and safe for hot liquids?
Yes, the AeroPress Go is made from food-safe, BPA—and phthalate-free, heat-resistant and durable polypropylene.
