This Natural processed lot comes from Tarime, a small municipality close to the border with Kenya. A washing station services the area, with most producers in the region having around 1-2 acres of land. A concerted effort was made in 2020 to improve the quality of the coffee produced, and has been incredibly successful, with many farmers returning to the area.
In the cup, this coffee is absolutely loaded with fruit flavours. Raspberries are the standout up front, followed closely by juicy grape and a mellow blueberry sweetness with plenty of acidity and a hint of floral notes throughout.
