Frequently Asked Questions

What is the No 1 black tea in the UK?
This is dependent on who you ask and often the region they live in. Whilst some prefer the simplicity and ease of a tea bag, others enjoy the art of using tea leaves to make the perfect black tea. We may be biased but we believe our black tea is some of the best Lincolnshire has to offer.
How much black tea per Litre?
When brewing wholesale black tea, the recommended ratio is two to three grams of tea leaves (about one teaspoon) for every 250 millilitres of water. You would need between 8 and 12 grams of black tea leaves for a litre of water. This ratio, however, is not set in stone. It can be adjusted to cater to individual preferences, allowing you to create a brew that suits your taste perfectly, whether you prefer a stronger or milder flavour.
What is the best quality black tea made from?
High quality tea leaves sourced sustainably from the finest tea growing regions.
