Villa is our latest coffee from the Rainforest Alliance certified Daterra Co-operative in Brazil. This lot forms part of their Classics collection, which aims to celebrate the best flavours of the Cerrado region. Sweet, rich and with a wonderful body, it’s almost more a dessert than a coffee.

A slow medium roast brings out flavours of sticky dates, syrupy honey and an unmistakeable dark chocolate bitterness on the finish.

Being a Coventry City supporter, I should hate Villa. In fact, this is the best coffee I’ve ever had. I was trying to cut down my coffee intake, but I’ve had to increase it due to the intense cravings for this bean. It’s rich, smooth, with a subtle, yet evident chocolate undertone. It has an even more subtle tobaccoey hint, with a fruity sweetness. It’s late but I want a coffee now 😩 Be careful, addiction is real.

Delicious coffee

I don't know much about "tasting notes" but I do know that I love this coffee! It is smooth but has good flavour and no unpleasant after-taste. I only have one coffee a day, but I very often want a second cup of Villa.
